Top Three Zelda Instruments

Hey everyone! It's Sheik here today for your favorite day of the week! Which is Zelda day as you all know. Well, anyways, lets get to it! Today I am going to be talking about the top three instruments used in The Legend of Zelda series. Lets start with number three.

3
The Wind Waker

Now incase you don't know this is The Wind Waker. Now his is a very big instrument because, well, first of the title of the game is Wind Waker. So, what does it do? Why it says it in the name! It controls the wind! You can use this item in game to play many songs you learn during your journey. This is given to you by the wind god on Dragon Roost island. This is critical for your journey and a very important part of the game.

2
Goddess Harp

I put the goddess harp at number two for multiple reasons. First off, this appears in multiple titles, for it has been passed down through the royal family for thousands of years. The firs time it is used, was by Skyward Sword Zelda, who was the goddess reborn. During Skyward Sword, Zelda gives you the harp to aid you in your journey. It is necessary for entering the Silent Realm. Many many years later it was passed down through the royal family and eventually given to the Zelda in Ocarina of Time. While she is disguised as Sheik, she uses the harp to teach all the warps songs to Link during his journey.

3
The Ocarina of Time

Now this may be the most iconic instruments in the Zelda series. The Ocarina of Time appears in, well, Ocarina of Time of course! This is practically the main item of the game. After you get the three stones at the begging of the game, Zelda will make a quick escape from the castle, and will throw you the Ocarina of Time. You will be using this item a LOT in the game. In Ocarina of Time, you can learn a total of 12 songs. The Ocarina is also used in Majora's Mask, but with some new songs, and without the warp songs. Whenever you are about to enter a new temple, Sheik will appear and teach you a warp song which will allow you to go to the temple entrance whenever you want. There are many different varieties of songs to learn as well, such as calling your horse, or making it rain, or even changing the time of day. You can actually buy real replica Ocarina's online that look identical to the one used in Zelda, I have one and it came in a really cool box that has Link and Sheik on the front using their instruments.

Well that's all I have today! I hope you enjoyed my post. My next post will be a list of all the songs you can learn on the Ocarina, what they do, and where you learn them. Anyways, make sure you check out our Instagram page @thezeldagalaxy. All Ocarina Songs From Ocarina of Time

Hey guys! Sheik here! Now I know a while ago I said I would make a post about all of the Ocarina songs from Ocarina of time. Well here it is! Before we start I just want to let you know there could be spoilers and also I will not be doing the songs from Majora's mask right now. Well lets jump right in!

Saria's Song
Saria's song is one of the first songs that you learn in the game. It is taught to you by, well, Saria. You can play this song at any point in the game and it will allow you to talk to Saria. You will need to use this song in a few points in the game as well. For instance, when you are at the Goron city, you will need to play this song for Darunia, so he will let you into Dodongo's cavern. Also if you play this for skull kid, he will recognize you as a friend of Saria's.

Song of Storms

Now I already posted about the whole Song of Storms paradox, and I pretty much explained what this song is but will explain it again if you need a quick reminder. The Song of storms can be learned at the windmill in Kakariko village. This song allows you to summon rain at anytime, while you are outside. You will need this song to gain access to the well, where you get the lens of truth. This song can be very confusing, so check out y other post of you haven't already.

Epona's Song
This song might be one of the most useful songs in the game. Epona's song allows you to call Epona the horse anywhere in Hyrule field, and the Gerudo fortress. No more long stretched out walks through Hyrule field! Epona is needed in many parts throughout the game. In order to reach the Gerudo fortress, you must jump over a bridge using Epona. Also, if you are ever interested in catching Big Poes, you will need to shoot arrows from the back of Epona. Now I know what you are thinking, where can I get Epona? Well you have to go to Lon Lon Ranch. It is a long process and I will be making a post about the ranch and all that you can do and get from it soon. You get the song however, by showing your Ocarina to Malon as a child. She will then teach you the song.

Sun's Song

The Sun's song is also a very useful song throughout the game. First off, the Sun's song can change the time of day throughout the game. This can be useful for if you are Poe hunting, or if you got locked in or out of castle town. Also, say your favorite shop is closed during the night. No worry, just play the Sun's song and make it day again! The Sun's song can also stun one of the worst enemies in the series. Redeads.  I will be talking about this enemy more in the future, but for now, I will talk about their weakness, which is the Sun's song. If you play this in front of a redead, they will be stunned and you can hit them without being frozen. You can learn this song by defeating the two poe brothers in the graveyard.

Zelda's Lullaby

Zelda's Lullaby might be one of the most iconic songs in the Legend of Zelda series. It is used in almost every game, and sometimes, plays a big role in the game. In Ocarina of Time, it is one of the first songs that you learn. It is taught to you by Impa, after you sneak into the castle and talk to Princess Zelda. This song is used quite a lot throughout the game. One thing it is used for is gaining access to the Zora Domain. If you play the song in front of the entrance, the waterfall will stop flowing and you can enter. Also, in the water temple as an adult, you must play this song in front of the triforce symbols to raise and lower the water levels throughout the temple. This song is also used a lot in other games. For instance, in Twilight Princess, it is one of the nine songs that you can howl. You learn it in the Sacred Grove. You have to use it to start your trial to get the master sword. You also might have read from Fierce Deity, that The Skyward Sword theme played backwards is Zelda's Lullaby.

Song of Time

This next song is the Song of Time. This is probably the main Song of the game, or the most important anyways. This Song is used many times throughout your journey. It is thought to you my Princess Zelda. As she is fleeing from the castle with Impa, she sees you and throws the Ocarina of Time into the water. When you go to retrieve it, you have a vision of Zelda teaching you the Song of Time. This is the first song that you learn on the Ocarina and the most necessary one. You can then use this Song to gain access to the Temple of Time, in castle town. That might be the most important building in the game. You can also play this song in front of time blocks to make them move back and forth. This song is also important in Majora's Mask.

Prelude of Light

The Prelude of Light is the first warp song that you are taught. The song allows you to teleport to the Temple of Time whenever you want. This song is very handy for switching from child, to adult Link. This Song is taught to you by Sheik in the Temple of Time.

Minuet of Forest

The Minuet of Forest is the second warp song that you are taught. This song will warp you right to the heart of the lost woods, where the forest temple is. This Song is also taught to you by Sheik. The Forest temple is where you can awaken the second sage, Saria.

Bolero of Fire

The Bolero of fire is the third song that you are thought through the game. Once again, it is taught to you by Sheik. It will warp you into the middle of the Eldin volcano. You will need to have the fire suit though, or you will be burnt to a crisp. In the volcano is the Fire Temple, where you can awaken the third sage, Darunia.

Serenade of Water

The fourth warp song is the Serenade of water. This song is again, taught to you by Sheik in Lake Hylia. This song warps you to a small island in the middle of Lake Hylia. From there, you have to dive to the bottom with the Zora suit to reach the temple. In this temple you will awaken the Sage of Water, Ruto

Nocturne of Shadow

The Nocturne of Shadow is one of the creepiest songs in the game. This song was taught to you by Sheik once more. This song teleports you to the graveyard so you can enter the spookiest temple in the game, the Shadow Temple. It is also useful for quick access to Kakariko village. Here you can awaken the Sage of Shadow, Impa.

Requiem of Spirit

The Requiem of Spirit is the final song learned in the game. I bet you can guess who taught it to you. Sheik! This song will warp you in the middle of the Gerudo Dessert, where the Spirit Temple is located. This is a useful warp because it is very hard to get there without getting lost in the dessert. At this temple, you awaken the sage of spirit, Nabooru

Link is NOT Dead in Majora's Mask

Hey guys! Sheik here! Now today I will actually be talking about the Link is dead in Majora's Mask theory. Now, you are allowed to believe whatever you want, but today I am going to tell you why this theory is INCORRECT! Gasp! Well, I have a lot of reasons why this theory is totally wrong and I am just going to jump in with my top three reasons! Hope you enjoy!

Ok, so first, most people think he died when he was falling in to Termina. Now first off, he lands on a Deku flower, which does not damage you if you fall. Why would it suddenly turn deadly? Also, Link is the chosen hero of the gods, falling down a hole is not going to kill him! He has the triforce of courage for crying out loud! It just doesn't add up why he would so suddenly just die.

Onto my second reason! As many of you may know, you can make wooden statues of the current mask you are wearing. Most people say that since you can make a statue of yourself you must be dead. WRONG! First off, it is simply a statue of your current state. You don't have to be dead to have a statue. Also, if you haven't noticed, the Link statue is the only one with pupils in the eyes, representing that he is still alive.

Ok now my final bit of proof here is pretty much my Hero's Shade theory I posted. If Link died in Majora's Mask, how is he Hero's Shade? First, if he died as a child, he would turn into a skull kid. As far as I am aware, Hero's Shade is not a skull kid. Also, if he died, how did he marry Malon, and actually have generations of kids, leading up to Twilight Princess Link? It once again, doesn't make any sense.

Well that's all I have for you today! Like I said, you are allowed to have your own opinions. Let me know in the comments if there is anything else that you would like to add! Twilight Princess Wolf Songs

Hey everyone! Sheik here! First off, I am very sorry I haven't posted in a long time, I was having some technical difficulties. I will try to catch up on my posts very soon. Today, I want to talk about some of the music used in the series. Not just any music though, Twilight Princess music. Now on my opinion, Twilight Princess has the best music known to any video game. You just can't beat it. Today, I will be talking about the wolf songs.

Now incase you didn't know, one of the many things you can do as a wolf is howl. There are about ten songs that you can howl in the game. The first two, are the two playable grasses that you can play as a human. You can call Epona anytime if you howl next to the grass. The howled version of the song is the exact same as the normal one. You can also howl next to the grass you use to call the falcon. The only place where this has an effect is Lake Hylia where it will call the big twilight bird that you can ride on.

Next up are the six songs that you can learn from the howling stones. I talked briefly about these songs awhile ago in my Hero's Shade theory post, but I am just going to give you some reminders. You can learn these songs at howling stones which are scattered all over Hyrule. Once you howl the song, and you play it with Hero's Shade, he will show up in his wolf form somewhere on your map. Five out of the six  songs are from other games in the series. Right now, I am just going to list all of the wolf songs you can learn from the howling stones, and where they come from.
1) The Song of Healing (Majora's Mask)
2) Prelude of Light (Ocarina of Time)
3) Goron's Lullaby (Majora's Mask)
4) Requiem of Spirit (Ocarina of Time)
5) Ballad of Gales (Wind Waker)
6) Twilight Princess Theme (Twilight Princess)

The next Song is one well known by most people. That is of course, Zelda's Lullaby. This song can be learned in front of the sacred grove and is used multiple times inside as well. This is the only song you learn from a stone that can be played more than once.

Well that's all I have for you today! I hope that you enjoy! Please leave any questions or comments you have in the comments! Make sure to check out our Instagram page @thezeldagalaxy, and check out www.thenintenbros.blogspot.com for even more Nintendo tips, theories, updates, and more! Until then, Bye!!!

Song of Storms Paradox

Hello everyone! Today, I am about to show you something that will leave you lying awake at might, endlessly thinking. Nah, it isn't that bad but it will make your brain hurt quite a lot. That's right all you Zelda fans, I'm talking about the song of storms paradox.

Now some of you may not know what the song of storms is. The song of storms is a song you can learn on your ocarina in Ocarina of Time. You learn it from Guru Guru in Kakariko village. Now, here is where it can get super confusing so you might have to go back and re-read some sentences. As a child, you can go into the windmill an talk to Guru Guru. He will just babble on about how much he loves how the windmill goes round and round. While he is doing this he seems to be playing some sort of music box type thing. It is not necessary to do this but I am just mentioning it so you don't get too confused. If you enter the windmill as an adult however, it is a completely different mood. The windmill is going super fast and he is playing his little music box a lot faster, and angrier now. If you talk to him he states that some little kid dressed in green ruined his life seven years ago. Sound familiar? He says the little kid came in and played an odd song on his ocarina and it made it start to storm, causing the windmill to go crazy. Now, he is boomed to live the rest of his life playing his little box. If you pull out your ocarina in front of him he will angrily state that looks identical to the one the little boy played. Then, like a moron, he teaches you the song that the little kid played to make it storm, and you now know the song of storms. Now, I am quite sure that you all know that the little boy is you as a kid, so who's ready to go ruin someones life? Technically this is necessary to get through the main quest because it empties the water in the well. Go back into the windmill as a little kid and play the song right in front of him. The windmill will go crazy and so will he. Are you ready for the crazy part? Now, here is where it can get super confusing so you might have to go back and re-read some sentences. Who taught you the song? Guru Guru did. And who taught him the song? You did. Confused yet? You practically taught each other the song. Or in simpler terms, you taught yourself a song that can make it rain. How does that work? He didn't create it, and you didn't either, so who did? That's the part that will leave you wondering endlessly in your mind. You will never know who made the song, or how it got there in the first place, its just... there.... The paradox just goes on endlessly without stop. Did I confuse you? That's ok, just go back and re-read it again.

Thank you guys for reading! Sorry if I made your head hurt. And, big news! Zelda Galaxy has a new instagram page!!! Check us out @thezeldagalaxy21 for post notifications and special announcements! Midna, The Twilight Princess

Hey everyone! Sheik here. Today I am going to talk about the best Legend of Zelda character there is, that's right, Midna. Now, you can have your own favorite character, but Midna is mine. Also like always, this may contain spoilers for the game Twilight Princess.

Now, there must be a million reason why Midna is my favorite character. For the sake of time, I will only name the biggest ones. First, look how powerful she is! Yes, I know Zelda is powerful, but look at Midna! She can kill people with her hair. She killed Zant, who was granted the power of a god, with her hair. Now yes I know, its not necessarily where her power comes from. She is a descendant of the first Twili, and the lawful ruler of the entire realm. Her ancestors created the fused shadows, one of the most powerful objects in the Legend of Zelda series. She has inherited this power, and that henceforth makes her one of the most powerful characters in the game.

Now I don't only like her for her power. I mostly like her for her wisdom, and courage to do what is right. When she first meets Link, she doesn't care about the world of light at all. Her only concern is saving her people of the Twilight realm. While Link is gathering the fused shadows, she begins to realize maybe the people of light aren't as bad as she thought they where. After Link gets all the fused shadows, Zant appears, If you don't know, Zant is the Usurper King of the Twilight realm. He turns Link back to his wolf form, and offers to make a deal with Midna. He says they can work together, to rid of the light world, and let it be taken over by shadow. She refuses, and Zant exposes her to the light, almost killing her. Link tries to save her by bringing her to Princess Zelda. Her final request is that Zelda shows Link where the mirror of Twilight is, so he can stop Zant and save the light. Zelda then gives a mysterious power to Midna, as she is disappearing. After this, Midna's main goal is to save the world of light, for it is just as important as her own. Link and Midna manage to defeat Zant and Ganondarf and both worlds are now safe. As Midna is returning to her world, she says her goodbyes and thanks Link and Zelda for all they have done. She cannot say goodbye to Link though, and a single golden tear falls down her eye. She simply tells him, "See you later", as she shatters the mirror and steps through the portal as it breaks. Now that may not seem like a big deal, but she sacrificed her own happiness, for the sake of her people, and theirs. By breaking the mirror, no more evils can seep from the realm, and threaten the light realm.

Now do you see how awesome Midna is? Make sure to tell me what your favorite Zelda character is in the comments below. Also, make sure to visit www.thenintenbros.blogspot.com  for even more Nintendo tips, theories, updates, and more! Until then, bye!

Breath of The Wild: What we know so far

Hey Guys! What's up! Today I will be doing a quick post on Zelda's new game, Breath of The Wild. Before I start, if you want to be totally surprised when you get the game, then simply don't read this. I don't want to ruin the fun for you. Also, I will not be giving ANY spoilers about the story at all, for I haven't watched any myself, because I don't like spoilers. Well you must be thinking, Breath of The Wild? Sounds interesting. WELL IT IS! Lets jump right in.

Personally, I am SO excited for this game! This game contains the largest map of any Zelda game, it will take hours just to explore it all! Also I love all the freedom you get. This game is also really realistic, not just the graphics. In Breath of The Wild, you must find or kill your own food. Maybe you will find an apple, or maybe you must kill a bison. Another thing is that your weapons and tools break, and you will have to find more. Also, you must find your own clothes, and I haven't looked at any spoilers, but from what I have seen, Link does not wear the normal green tunic, hat, and boots like all the other titles. I'm not for sure whether they will make an appearance in the game, but I think change is good every once in awhile.

From the looks of it, there is also a super cool new enemy called Guardians. They are large robotic creatures that chase you around from the looks of the preview. I am pretty excited for them! Lets just say they are more than what they look like ;). I will soon be making another Sheikah theory about their connection to Breath of the Wild.

Now, I almost wet myself when I saw this. If you own The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD deluxe edition, then you have the amazing wolf Link amiibo. If you have beat the Cave of Shadows in Twilight Princess (which you get to by touching the amiibo to the gamepad), then it will save that to your system. Now, if you tap that amiibo to the gamepad in Breath of The Wild, (only if you beat the cave of Shadows) Wolf Link will appear in your game!!! The number of hearts he has depends on the amount you had at the end of The Cave Of Shadows. He is very useful, since Link has no companion in this game. Wolf Link can hunt down and kill enemies, and wild game for you. Also he will be with you if you are lonely.

Well that's all I got for you today! Breath of The Wild will be released sometime in 2017, for sure this time! Trust me I already have mine pre-ordered. Make sure you check out  http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for even more awesome Nintendo tips, theories, easter eggs, and more! Peace out Zelda fans!
