Breath of The Wild: What we know so far

Hey Guys! What's up! Today I will be doing a quick post on Zelda's new game, Breath of The Wild. Before I start, if you want to be totally surprised when you get the game, then simply don't read this. I don't want to ruin the fun for you. Also, I will not be giving ANY spoilers about the story at all, for I haven't watched any myself, because I don't like spoilers. Well you must be thinking, Breath of The Wild? Sounds interesting. WELL IT IS! Lets jump right in.

Personally, I am SO excited for this game! This game contains the largest map of any Zelda game, it will take hours just to explore it all! Also I love all the freedom you get. This game is also really realistic, not just the graphics. In Breath of The Wild, you must find or kill your own food. Maybe you will find an apple, or maybe you must kill a bison. Another thing is that your weapons and tools break, and you will have to find more. Also, you must find your own clothes, and I haven't looked at any spoilers, but from what I have seen, Link does not wear the normal green tunic, hat, and boots like all the other titles. I'm not for sure whether they will make an appearance in the game, but I think change is good every once in awhile.

From the looks of it, there is also a super cool new enemy called Guardians. They are large robotic creatures that chase you around from the looks of the preview. I am pretty excited for them! Lets just say they are more than what they look like ;). I will soon be making another Sheikah theory about their connection to Breath of the Wild.

Now, I almost wet myself when I saw this. If you own The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD deluxe edition, then you have the amazing wolf Link amiibo. If you have beat the Cave of Shadows in Twilight Princess (which you get to by touching the amiibo to the gamepad), then it will save that to your system. Now, if you tap that amiibo to the gamepad in Breath of The Wild, (only if you beat the cave of Shadows) Wolf Link will appear in your game!!! The number of hearts he has depends on the amount you had at the end of The Cave Of Shadows. He is very useful, since Link has no companion in this game. Wolf Link can hunt down and kill enemies, and wild game for you. Also he will be with you if you are lonely.

Well that's all I got for you today! Breath of The Wild will be released sometime in 2017, for sure this time! Trust me I already have mine pre-ordered. Hyrule Historia

Hello everyone! Sheik here, and today, I will be talking about one of the most useful Zelda references ever. That's right you Zelda fans! I'm talking about Hyrule Historia.

I have found this book VERY useful. I find myself reading it over and over again because of how amazing it's content is! I mean, it is literally 237 pages of pure awesome. It contains concept art from the games, a complete timeline (except Breath of The Wild but that doesn't count). It goes through each game and gives a good summery in the timeline order. Also, the first 66 pages are completely Skyward Sword, since this came out about the time that it came out.

As you can see above, it also has a map to show the character design development over time. It also includes a complete map for Princess Zelda and Ganondarf.

This picture shown above is an example of what the summaries look like. Most of them are about five pages long, and are full of interesting facts. Also, in the Twilight Princess section, and Wind Waker section, it shows you how to decipher the language written in that era. Also in the Twilight Princess section, it proves the Hero's Shade IS Ocarina of Time Link!!! So now you also see that I am not crazy!!! It also explains most of the characters.

Up above here is an example of the "creative footprints". Here, it shows many design sketches for many of our beloved characters. As you may see, this shows Skyward Sword Zelda, and her many possible looks and outfits. There are so many pages filled with possibilities!

Also in the back of the book, is a small part of the Skyward Sword manga. Now some of you may be like "ew! manga!" but hear me out. If you love to know all things about a game, then you must read this. I mean, this is like the beginning of all the timeline! It tells of the time of Hylia's Hero, and the first loftwing, and when Skyloft was first created! I highly suggest reading this.

So now do you need to go buy this book right now? Yup, I thought so. Well, I'm not going to keep you from following your dreams, so I'll stop talking. Thanks so much for reading, make sure you check out http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for even more Nintendo tips, theories, easter eggs and more! Bye!!!

Heros Shade Theory

What's up everybody? Sheik here! Today I am going to be doing another theory. This time, we are going to be talking about the mysterious hero's shade. I love this theory for many reasons that you will find out soon! SPOILER ALERT!!! Like most theories, this could spoil some of the games for you. You have been warned. So! Lets begin!

As many of you Twilight Princess fans already know, this is hero's shade. You first meet him outside the forest temple when he is in his wolf form. He says he will teach you the seven hidden skills, which you can learn by progressing through the game. Now, here comes the theory part. Many say he is the Link from Ocarina of time. Now, as you probably saw in my last theory, none of it was proven. This however, has been confirmed by Nintendo. In Hyrule Historia, they refer to Link as "descendant of the Hero of Time". Underneath that, they say the following: "The spirit of Link's ancestor, the Hero of Time, teaches him his secrets.  Ever since returning to the child era, the swordsman has lamented the fact that he was not remembered as a hero. This is the reason he passes down the proof of his courage and his techniques to the Link of this era, addressing him as son". That's pretty much all the proof you need to believe me, but what's the fun in that! Get ready for some more evidence.
Hero's Shade's sword, shown above, shows a lot of resemblance to the master sword. You can tell by the almost broken triforce on the end of his sword. Also the shape is very similar.

Next we have a howling stone and the two wolves howling. For those of you who do not know, Hero's Shade has a wolf form as well. Since Twilight Princess Link turn to a wolf because of the triforce, he could have too. The howling stone seems to have a Sheika eye in the middle. I actually am not sure why, maybe Hero's Shade worked with the Sheika but I don't think so. Now, every time Link encounters a howling stone, it teaches him a song that he can howl.  Most of these songs, can be found in Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask. The song are, Prelude of Light,  Song of Time, and Zelda's Lullaby.  Ocarina of time Link learned these songs and easily could pass them down to Twilight Princess Link. Although, I am stumped on one part. One of the songs Twilight Princess Link learns is from Wind Waker. I mean, what? Wind Waker is in an alternate dimension. (I will explain the different dimensions later in my timeline post.) If you know why please tell me in the comments!) Next piece of evidence!
Most of you Ocarina of Time fans know who this is. If you don't, this is Malon, from Lon Lon ranch. Hero's Shade calls Twilight Princess Link his son at the end of his training. Hyrule Historia also says that Twilight Princess Link is a descendant of Ocarina of Time Link. Now if this is so, who did Ocarina of Time Link end up with? It cannot be Saria, Impa, Ruto, Naboo, or Zelda because they all became sages. The only girl left is Malon. This also explains a lot in Twilight Princess. Now, Malon is a farmer. So is Link in Twilight Princess. I mean that could just be a coincidence, but like I said, those are no fun :). Also, in Ocarina of Time, Malon is often found singing "Epona's Song" which she says her mother taught her before she died. In Twilight Princess, Link also knows this song, and uses it quite often. Malon would most likely pass that song down to future generations. Piecing together the puzzle yet? That is not actually proven but it is what I believe.
Now are you piecing together the puzzle? I do personally believe this theory but feel free to have your own opinions.
Thank you guys so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed, and feel free to ask questions in the comments if you are confused. Make sure to also check out http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for even more Nintendo theories, easter eggs, and tips. Until then, Bye!!!

Top 5 Zelda Games

Hello everybody! I have been behind on my posts, so today we are going to jump right in! Now, you don't know most of my personal thoughts on Zelda, so today, I am going to give you my top 5 favorite Zelda games! These are COMPLETELY my opinion, you can like others and that is ok!!! Also, don't get me wrong! I love ALL Zelda games. These are just the ones I really loved. First, lets start with number five.

5

My fifth favorite Zelda game is Legend of Zelda Link to the Past. I love this game because of its awesome story and great soundtrack. The feature of traveling to and from the past and present, is something I personally love. It was also one of the originals and it will always hold a place among my favorites.

My fourth favorite Zelda game is Skyward sword. I love this game for many reasons. It has many twists and unexpected turns in its story line. Again, I also love the soundtrack. This title also portrays my favorite version of Zelda. She is just a normal girl with a big destiny. It has excellent gameplay along with awesome graphics. Overall, this game will give you a big case of the feels.

The Legend of Zelda Majora's mask is one of my absolute favorites. It has a dark and mischievous story line along with many sad and depressing moments. If this game doesn't have your heart hurting, then you need to see a doctor. I also love the masks. They give you so many abilities that make the quest so much easier. For example, the bunny hood makes the regular running trips through Hyrule Field less intimidating. This game was one of the most mysterious I've played. So many things that you must progress through the story to figure out. That's why this game gets number three.

2

My second favorite is Ocarina of Time. I just absolutely love this game. So many of my favorite characters are featured in this title. Such as Malon, Saria, Impa, and Ruto. Also as most of you know, Sheik, is one of the main characters in this title. I will be making a post later on why I love her so much. I also love the ocarina and all the songs you can play. This can be a very cheerful game. Well... Until *cough*cough* shadow temple* Wow, excuse me. The gameplay is quite cool as well, and I just love all the characters. The game also has just the right amount of temples necessary to completing the game. There are so many more reasons, but for the sake of time, we are on to number one!

1

I could go on for hours at end on how much I love this game. Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is by far, my all time favorite video game. I don't even know where to start! I love every little thing about this game. The darkness to it, the compelling story line, all the characters! This game contains my favorite Zelda character, Midna. Now I know, gasp!* it isn't Sheik?! No, Sheik is a close second but Midna has always been my favorite. Now, I have played this game before I could even read. So many childhood memories were of this game! It has the best storyline in all video game history (that is an opinion) and the best soundtrack too! Whenever I am bored, I will start a new save file, then BAM! Eight hours later I am still playing. This game, is so emotional and has such a great story line. Like I said, I could go on for hours, but I'm afraid I must go. I will be posting more about Twilight Princess soon.
