Song of Storms Paradox

Hello everyone! Today, I am about to show you something that will leave you lying awake at might, endlessly thinking. Nah, it isn't that bad but it will make your brain hurt quite a lot. That's right all you Zelda fans, I'm talking about the song of storms paradox.

Now some of you may not know what the song of storms is. The song of storms is a song you can learn on your ocarina in Ocarina of Time. You learn it from Guru Guru in Kakariko village. Now, here is where it can get super confusing so you might have to go back and re-read some sentences. As a child, you can go into the windmill an talk to Guru Guru. He will just babble on about how much he loves how the windmill goes round and round. While he is doing this he seems to be playing some sort of music box type thing. It is not necessary to do this but I am just mentioning it so you don't get too confused. If you enter the windmill as an adult however, it is a completely different mood. The windmill is going super fast and he is playing his little music box a lot faster, and angrier now. If you talk to him he states that some little kid dressed in green ruined his life seven years ago. Sound familiar? He says the little kid came in and played an odd song on his ocarina and it made it start to storm, causing the windmill to go crazy. Now, he is boomed to live the rest of his life playing his little box. If you pull out your ocarina in front of him he will angrily state that looks identical to the one the little boy played. Then, like a moron, he teaches you the song that the little kid played to make it storm, and you now know the song of storms. Now, I am quite sure that you all know that the little boy is you as a kid, so who's ready to go ruin someones life? Technically this is necessary to get through the main quest because it empties the water in the well. Go back into the windmill as a little kid and play the song right in front of him. The windmill will go crazy and so will he. Are you ready for the crazy part? Now, here is where it can get super confusing so you might have to go back and re-read some sentences. Who taught you the song? Guru Guru did. And who taught him the song? You did. Confused yet? You practically taught each other the song. Or in simpler terms, you taught yourself a song that can make it rain. How does that work? He didn't create it, and you didn't either, so who did? That's the part that will leave you wondering endlessly in your mind. You will never know who made the song, or how it got there in the first place, its just... there.... The paradox just goes on endlessly without stop. Did I confuse you? That's ok, just go back and re-read it again.

Midna, The Twilight Princess

Hey everyone! Sheik here. Today I am going to talk about the best Legend of Zelda character there is, that's right, Midna. Now, you can have your own favorite character, but Midna is mine. Also like always, this may contain spoilers for the game Twilight Princess.

Now, there must be a million reason why Midna is my favorite character. For the sake of time, I will only name the biggest ones. First, look how powerful she is! Yes, I know Zelda is powerful, but look at Midna! She can kill people with her hair. She killed Zant, who was granted the power of a god, with her hair. Now yes I know, its not necessarily where her power comes from. She is a descendant of the first Twili, and the lawful ruler of the entire realm. Her ancestors created the fused shadows, one of the most powerful objects in the Legend of Zelda series. She has inherited this power, and that henceforth makes her one of the most powerful characters in the game.

Now I don't only like her for her power. I mostly like her for her wisdom, and courage to do what is right. When she first meets Link, she doesn't care about the world of light at all. Her only concern is saving her people of the Twilight realm. While Link is gathering the fused shadows, she begins to realize maybe the people of light aren't as bad as she thought they where. After Link gets all the fused shadows, Zant appears, If you don't know, Zant is the Usurper King of the Twilight realm. He turns Link back to his wolf form, and offers to make a deal with Midna. He says they can work together, to rid of the light world, and let it be taken over by shadow. She refuses, and Zant exposes her to the light, almost killing her. Link tries to save her by bringing her to Princess Zelda. Her final request is that Zelda shows Link where the mirror of Twilight is, so he can stop Zant and save the light. Zelda then gives a mysterious power to Midna, as she is disappearing. After this, Midna's main goal is to save the world of light, for it is just as important as her own. Link and Midna manage to defeat Zant and Ganondarf and both worlds are now safe. As Midna is returning to her world, she says her goodbyes and thanks Link and Zelda for all they have done. She cannot say goodbye to Link though, and a single golden tear falls down her eye. She simply tells him, "See you later", as she shatters the mirror and steps through the portal as it breaks. Now that may not seem like a big deal, but she sacrificed her own happiness, for the sake of her people, and theirs. By breaking the mirror, no more evils can seep from the realm, and threaten the light realm.

Now do you see how awesome Midna is? Make sure to tell me what your favorite Zelda character is in the comments below. Also, make sure to visit www.thenintenbros.blogspot.com  for even more Nintendo tips, theories, updates, and more! Until then, bye!

Breath of The Wild: What we know so far

Hey Guys! What's up! Today I will be doing a quick post on Zelda's new game, Breath of The Wild. Before I start, if you want to be totally surprised when you get the game, then simply don't read this. I don't want to ruin the fun for you. Also, I will not be giving ANY spoilers about the story at all, for I haven't watched any myself, because I don't like spoilers. Well you must be thinking, Breath of The Wild? Sounds interesting. WELL IT IS! Lets jump right in.

Personally, I am SO excited for this game! This game contains the largest map of any Zelda game, it will take hours just to explore it all! Also I love all the freedom you get. This game is also really realistic, not just the graphics. In Breath of The Wild, you must find or kill your own food. Maybe you will find an apple, or maybe you must kill a bison. Another thing is that your weapons and tools break, and you will have to find more. Also, you must find your own clothes, and I haven't looked at any spoilers, but from what I have seen, Link does not wear the normal green tunic, hat, and boots like all the other titles. I'm not for sure whether they will make an appearance in the game, but I think change is good every once in awhile.

From the looks of it, there is also a super cool new enemy called Guardians. They are large robotic creatures that chase you around from the looks of the preview. I am pretty excited for them! Lets just say they are more than what they look like ;). I will soon be making another Sheikah theory about their connection to Breath of the Wild.

Now, I almost wet myself when I saw this. If you own The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD deluxe edition, then you have the amazing wolf Link amiibo. If you have beat the Cave of Shadows in Twilight Princess (which you get to by touching the amiibo to the gamepad), then it will save that to your system. Now, if you tap that amiibo to the gamepad in Breath of The Wild, (only if you beat the cave of Shadows) Wolf Link will appear in your game!!! The number of hearts he has depends on the amount you had at the end of The Cave Of Shadows. He is very useful, since Link has no companion in this game. Wolf Link can hunt down and kill enemies, and wild game for you. Also he will be with you if you are lonely.

Well that's all I got for you today! Breath of The Wild will be released sometime in 2017, for sure this time! Trust me I already have mine pre-ordered. Make sure you check out  http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for even more awesome Nintendo tips, theories, easter eggs, and more! Peace out Zelda fans!

Hyrule Historia

Hello everyone! Sheik here, and today, I will be talking about one of the most useful Zelda references ever. That's right you Zelda fans! I'm talking about Hyrule Historia.

I have found this book VERY useful. I find myself reading it over and over again because of how amazing it's content is! I mean, it is literally 237 pages of pure awesome. It contains concept art from the games, a complete timeline (except Breath of The Wild but that doesn't count). It goes through each game and gives a good summery in the timeline order. Also, the first 66 pages are completely Skyward Sword, since this came out about the time that it came out.

As you can see above, it also has a map to show the character design development over time. It also includes a complete map for Princess Zelda and Ganondarf.

This picture shown above is an example of what the summaries look like. Most of them are about five pages long, and are full of interesting facts. Also, in the Twilight Princess section, and Wind Waker section, it shows you how to decipher the language written in that era. Also in the Twilight Princess section, it proves the Hero's Shade IS Ocarina of Time Link!!! So now you also see that I am not crazy!!! It also explains most of the characters.

Up above here is an example of the "creative footprints". Here, it shows many design sketches for many of our beloved characters. As you may see, this shows Skyward Sword Zelda, and her many possible looks and outfits. There are so many pages filled with possibilities!

Also in the back of the book, is a small part of the Skyward Sword manga. Now some of you may be like "ew! manga!" but hear me out. If you love to know all things about a game, then you must read this. I mean, this is like the beginning of all the timeline! It tells of the time of Hylia's Hero, and the first loftwing, and when Skyloft was first created! I highly suggest reading this.

So now do you need to go buy this book right now? Yup, I thought so. Well, I'm not going to keep you from following your dreams, so I'll stop talking. Thanks so much for reading, make sure you check out http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for even more Nintendo tips, theories, easter eggs and more! Bye!!!

Heros Shade Theory

What's up everybody? Sheik here! Today I am going to be doing another theory. This time, we are going to be talking about the mysterious hero's shade. I love this theory for many reasons that you will find out soon! SPOILER ALERT!!! Like most theories, this could spoil some of the games for you. You have been warned. So! Lets begin!

As many of you Twilight Princess fans already know, this is hero's shade. You first meet him outside the forest temple when he is in his wolf form. He says he will teach you the seven hidden skills, which you can learn by progressing through the game. Now, here comes the theory part. Many say he is the Link from Ocarina of time. Now, as you probably saw in my last theory, none of it was proven. This however, has been confirmed by Nintendo. In Hyrule Historia, they refer to Link as "descendant of the Hero of Time". Underneath that, they say the following: "The spirit of Link's ancestor, the Hero of Time, teaches him his secrets.  Ever since returning to the child era, the swordsman has lamented the fact that he was not remembered as a hero. This is the reason he passes down the proof of his courage and his techniques to the Link of this era, addressing him as son". That's pretty much all the proof you need to believe me, but what's the fun in that! Get ready for some more evidence.
Hero's Shade's sword, shown above, shows a lot of resemblance to the master sword. You can tell by the almost broken triforce on the end of his sword. Also the shape is very similar.

Next we have a howling stone and the two wolves howling. For those of you who do not know, Hero's Shade has a wolf form as well. Since Twilight Princess Link turn to a wolf because of the triforce, he could have too. The howling stone seems to have a Sheika eye in the middle. I actually am not sure why, maybe Hero's Shade worked with the Sheika but I don't think so. Now, every time Link encounters a howling stone, it teaches him a song that he can howl.  Most of these songs, can be found in Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask. The song are, Prelude of Light,  Song of Time, and Zelda's Lullaby.  Ocarina of time Link learned these songs and easily could pass them down to Twilight Princess Link. Although, I am stumped on one part. One of the songs Twilight Princess Link learns is from Wind Waker. I mean, what? Wind Waker is in an alternate dimension. (I will explain the different dimensions later in my timeline post.) If you know why please tell me in the comments!) Next piece of evidence!
Most of you Ocarina of Time fans know who this is. If you don't, this is Malon, from Lon Lon ranch. Hero's Shade calls Twilight Princess Link his son at the end of his training. Hyrule Historia also says that Twilight Princess Link is a descendant of Ocarina of Time Link. Now if this is so, who did Ocarina of Time Link end up with? It cannot be Saria, Impa, Ruto, Naboo, or Zelda because they all became sages. The only girl left is Malon. This also explains a lot in Twilight Princess. Now, Malon is a farmer. So is Link in Twilight Princess. I mean that could just be a coincidence, but like I said, those are no fun :). Also, in Ocarina of Time, Malon is often found singing "Epona's Song" which she says her mother taught her before she died. In Twilight Princess, Link also knows this song, and uses it quite often. Malon would most likely pass that song down to future generations. Piecing together the puzzle yet? That is not actually proven but it is what I believe.
Now are you piecing together the puzzle? I do personally believe this theory but feel free to have your own opinions.
Thank you guys so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed, and feel free to ask questions in the comments if you are confused. Make sure to also check out http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for even more Nintendo theories, easter eggs, and tips. Until then, Bye!!!

Top 5 Zelda Games

Hello everybody! I have been behind on my posts, so today we are going to jump right in! Now, you don't know most of my personal thoughts on Zelda, so today, I am going to give you my top 5 favorite Zelda games! These are COMPLETELY my opinion, you can like others and that is ok!!! Also, don't get me wrong! I love ALL Zelda games. These are just the ones I really loved. First, lets start with number five.

5

My fifth favorite Zelda game is Legend of Zelda Link to the Past. I love this game because of its awesome story and great soundtrack. The feature of traveling to and from the past and present, is something I personally love. It was also one of the originals and it will always hold a place among my favorites.

4

My fourth favorite Zelda game is Skyward sword. I love this game for many reasons. It has many twists and unexpected turns in its story line. Again, I also love the soundtrack. This title also portrays my favorite version of Zelda. She is just a normal girl with a big destiny. It has excellent gameplay along with awesome graphics. Overall, this game will give you a big case of the feels.

3

The Legend of Zelda Majora's mask is one of my absolute favorites. It has a dark and mischievous story line along with many sad and depressing moments. If this game doesn't have your heart hurting, then you need to see a doctor. I also love the masks. They give you so many abilities that make the quest so much easier. For example, the bunny hood makes the regular running trips through Hyrule Field less intimidating. This game was one of the most mysterious I've played. So many things that you must progress through the story to figure out. That's why this game gets number three.

2

My second favorite is Ocarina of Time. I just absolutely love this game. So many of my favorite characters are featured in this title. Such as Malon, Saria, Impa, and Ruto. Also as most of you know, Sheik, is one of the main characters in this title. I will be making a post later on why I love her so much. I also love the ocarina and all the songs you can play. This can be a very cheerful game. Well... Until *cough*cough* shadow temple* Wow, excuse me. The gameplay is quite cool as well, and I just love all the characters. The game also has just the right amount of temples necessary to completing the game. There are so many more reasons, but for the sake of time, we are on to number one!

1

I could go on for hours at end on how much I love this game. Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is by far, my all time favorite video game. I don't even know where to start! I love every little thing about this game. The darkness to it, the compelling story line, all the characters! This game contains my favorite Zelda character, Midna. Now I know, gasp!* it isn't Sheik?! No, Sheik is a close second but Midna has always been my favorite. Now, I have played this game before I could even read. So many childhood memories were of this game! It has the best storyline in all video game history (that is an opinion) and the best soundtrack too! Whenever I am bored, I will start a new save file, then BAM! Eight hours later I am still playing. This game, is so emotional and has such a great story line. Like I said, I could go on for hours, but I'm afraid I must go. I will be posting more about Twilight Princess soon.

Thank you so much for reading! Tell me your favorite Zelda game in the comments below! Make sure you check out http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for even more Nintendo updates, game facts, theories, and more. Until then, Bye!!!

Zelda amiibos

Hey everyone! Sheik here. Today, I am going to be talking about the Legend of Zelda amiibos. These can be found practically in any store that has a big electronics section. All of them are online of course too. Lets jump right in.

These were the first ones released. They are (left to right) toon Link, Zelda, Link, Sheik, and Ganondarf. Now these say Super Smash Bros on the box, which does make me a little mad, cause honestly people, it's just Zelda. The bases on the bottoms of them are also the Super Smash Bros logo. Now, these can be very useful. First they look very good in a collection, if you have one, and they have in game effects. For instance, in Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD, while on the save screen, you can tap them to the gamepad. The two Links, will refill your arrows once a day. Princess Zelda and Sheik, will refill your hearts once a day. Then there is Ganondarf. He is less then useless. If you tap him to the game pad, he will make you take double damage. They are also usable in Super Mario Maker, and you can actually play as any of these characters.

Next, are the 30th anniversary Zelda amiibos.  These actually say Zelda on the box and have a triforce on the base. These will be released on December 2nd of this year. These include (left to right) 8-bit Link, Link with his ocarina, and Toon Link and Zelda from Wind Waker. All we know for usefulness is they are compatible with Twilight Princess, and Hyrule Warriors.

These are the Breath of The Wild amiibos. The game and the amiibos are to be released sometime in 2017. This game looks awesome. It has the biggest world in a Zelda game yet, and the graphics look great too. I don't want to give away any spoilers, (I haven't looked at any myself either, takes the fun out of it) so that's all I am going to say about these today. I will make another post about them in 2017.
This is my personal favorite amiibo, wolf Link with Midna. You can only get this amiibo by purchasing the Twilight Princess HD deluxe edition. This amiibo is very useful. First I will start with what it does in Twilight Princess. If you tap it to the gamepad, you will be taken to an all new side quest, called the cave of shadows. This looks a lot like the Cave of Ordeals, but you must complete it as a wolf. Once you beat all the floors, it will save how many hearts you had left to your system. This will become useful in 2017. When playing Breath of the Wild, if you tap the wolf Link amiibo to the gamepad, he will appear in your game. He will follow you around, kill enemies, and hunt for you. He will have the same amount of hearts that you had at the end of the cave of shadows. If you don't have Twilight Princess HD, and if you didn't beat the cave of shadows, you can't use him. You can also use him in Super Mario Maker as well. Tap him to the gamepad and a pixelated version of him will appear and you can place him in mystery boxes. When playing your level, he is a playable character.

Thanks for reading guys! Let me know what you thought in the comments and tell us what your favorite amiibo was! Make sure to check out http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ all kinds of Nintendo tricks facts and theories! Even some Skyward Sword posts! Until then, Bye!!!

Monday, September 12, 2016

Hello guys! Now I have been a little behind on my posts so today, I am going to do my first theory! I will be going into detail on my favorite theory, the dark interlopers from Twilight Princess. Before I go forward, SPOILER ALERT! This theory is quite long, there is a lot of evidence, but stick with me here, it is worth it. Enjoy!

Image result for twilight princess dark interlopers

The dark interlopers are one of the most mysterious things in Twilight Princess. Who are they? Where do they come from? How did they get so powerful? Well I am going to try my best to answer those questions. First I'm going to tell you what we know for sure. First, these people are the creators of the fused shadows, which is a very powerful piece of magic. Second, these interlopers tried to use their magic for evil, so the twilight realm was created by the gods. They were then banished there. The twili species are descendants of these interlopers, as told by Midna, princess of the twilight realm. That is what we know about them so far, all of that was proven in the game. Now, I want to answer one of the most common, and unanswered questions. Who are they? Well this is one of the theories. I think they are Sheika defectors. There is a TON of evidence that proves this theory, so I am going to go through it piece by piece. First, you can probably see from the picture above, the interlopers have red eyes. Well so do all the Sheika. All the Sheika seen in the series are shown with
red eyes. Now this could be a coincidence, but theories are about coincidences! :D Alright. Next up is the Sheika eye. It is iconic in every Sheika related thing. It can be seen on Sheik's outfit, and some versions of Impa have it painted over her eye. Wait a second? What does that have to do with the interlopers, and the twilight realm? Well, the Sheika eye appears a few times in the twilight realm. First of all, the eye can be seen on the back of Zant's throne. Now why would they have the eye on their throne if it wasn't very important to them. Also, they are completely disconnected to the outside world, so how would they know about the Sheika? So this means they either are Sheika, or were very close to them. Another piece of evidence is the fused shadows. The fused shadows are one of the most powerful pieces of magic in the game, besides the triforce and other things of course. They must have been very powerful to make such a piece of magic. How did they get so powerful? It is a fact that the Sheika where connected to the royal family as there sworn
protectors. Could there have been some sort of rebellion? Maybe during something like that, they stole some powerful something. That's not very proven though so lets move on. The interlopers made the fused shadows with some sort of strange magic, and they were sealed away. BUT! The Sheika
eye can be seen on the back of the fused shadow. This easily could be some sort of recognition mark. Also, again, why put the Sheika mark on it if it is not very important to them. The eye can also be noticed on the front of the fused shadow. Now, some say that the interlopers also created the Majoras mask. That will be my next theory because that's a whole other set of evidence. Now, you may have noticed, neither the eye on Zant;s throne, nor the eye on the fused shadow, have the tear underneath. This could be a clue as to why the interlopers defected. Some say they got mad because the royal family was giving them the wrong jobs. The Sheika were sent by the goddess to protect and aid the royal family. Some felt the royal family was ordering them to do off topic things, like protect a non-royal person. They felt this was a disrespect to their purpose, and henceforth got very powerful and tried to take over the sacred realm, and the triforce. The light spirits were sent by the goddess to destroy the power and seal them away. Years after, the royal family use the mirrior of twilight, the only connection between the two worlds, to banish prisoners directly to the underworld.

That's pretty much the interloper theory! Like I said, I will be posting another theory about the majoras mask soon. Thanks for reading! Make sure to check out http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for even more Nintendo facts, easter eggs, and theories. Bye!!!

Cuccos

Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, I'll try to get two in today. Anyways, today.... we are here to discuss one of the biggest evils in the Legend of Zelda series.... Cuccos! Now I know, they are just chickens, but think again! They can be your worst nightmare. If you mess with a cucco, they will stop at nothing to kill you. For instance, in a majority of the games in the series, if you repeatedly hit a cucco with your sword, a giant swarm of them will come and attack you. The worst part is that they are invincible. They cannot be killed, and they will only stop swarming if you enter a building or leave the area. In some games, they can kill you rather quickly.

In Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, the cuccos don't attack you. They do something different. If you slash at a chicken for awhile, (which is harder in this game because they are so fast) there will not be a swarm, but instead, you will become the cucco! It really isn't that usefull, all you can do is run and jump around. Also, it will wear off after a couple of seconds.

Now as you see, cuccos aren't innocent little birds. They are the root of evil. Once you attack, they will stop at nothing for revenge. So how did you like my first post? Make sure to say so in the comments! If you want more Nintendo stuff, make sure to check out http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for amazing content! Anyways, maybe ill get another post up tonight. Make sure to speak up if you have a suggestion for future posts! Cya later!

Hello! My name is Sheik! As you can probably see, this blog is all about Zelda! Zelda is by far my favorite game ever. It has an amazing story line, and awesome gameplay. I haven't played a game from the series I haven't liked. Anyways, I hope to be doing a lot of tips, pointers, theories, and collection help. I will be doing some of my favorite theories, like the interlopers from Twilight Princess, and many from Majora's mask. Also I will be referring to the official Hyrule Historia quite often. Make sure that if you have any comments or suggestions, that say you say so in the comments! Your feedback is important to me! I hope that I will be able to post daily, so check back often! Like other Nintendo games too? Make sure you check out Nintenbros at http://thenintenbros.blogspot.com/ for tons of amazing game tips, theories, and info! I won't be posting any Skyward Sword things because all of that is covered by Fierce Deity, on Nintenbros. I also will have a few articles on there as well. Well, that's all for today!
